About Us
Owner Nick Selvy started in the entertainment & circus business at age 11 as a singer, actor, and dancer in professional theatre in Denver, Colorado. He also worked in films and commercials, and was introduced to the circus with flying trapeze at Club Med®. At age 12, he began a business manufacturing and selling "Nix Stix," his own brand of devil sticks. He also taught himself how to ride a 6-foot unicycle, and to juggle fire.
He continued studying theatre and circus arts at a performing arts high school, while also teaching capoeira and snowboarding. Upon moving to the West Coast, Nick's ambitions led him to become an instructor of surfing. Furthermore, he became a performer and coordinator of stunts and magic.
Using his circus skills, developed from a very young age, Nick then followed his dream and became a trapeze instructor at Club Med. This allowed Nick to teach at the trapeze & circus schools in the Caribbean and Mexico. He also taught at the Trapeze School New York (TSNY) and Hollywood Aerial Arts in California. With more than 20 years of experience, Nick has developed considerable skills in designing, building, and installing aerial rigs for film plus private installations in locations including Hollywood, Canada, and New York City.
